Take a private boat down the Li River. On a small boat you are able to enjoy the quiet and peaceful nature of this lazy river; watching the cormorant fishermen catching fish with their birds, the water buffalo dipping their heads under the water to eat the grasses, and of course the beautiful peaked hills as you drift downstream.
After arriving in Yangsuo, rent some bicycles (or take motorized transportation) and head into the countryside with your guide.
Climb the famous Moon Hill and get a great view of the surrounding area. From this hill-top you can see a full panorama of the hills, the valleys, and the rice paddies
Visit the thousand year-old tree, and explore local farming valleys hidden amongst the hills.
Have another dinner in the town, sampling some of the local delicacies if you desire (the snake dishes are the most famous!).
