Day 11

Drive to the Guilin airport and fly to Shanghai.

Transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel and check-in. This luxury hotel is famous for being the best in Shanghai, if not all of China. All around the world the Four Seasons has garnered a reputation for excellence, and this hotel is well known as one of their crowning achievements.

Take a walk along the Bund and view the famous architecture, the water may be dirty but this is one of the greatest places to see Shanghai.  Standing on the banks of Puxi, you can see the new business district in Pudong across the river.  With some of the tallest (and oddest) buildings and structures, it is a terrific backdrop for photos. Take a look inside one of the buildings open to the public which houses the best murals in Shanghai and best represents the artistry from the time of the European influence, a time when Shanghai was referred to as the "Paris of the East."

Take a cruise on the HuangPu River, with VIP seats.

Enjoy a hot pot dinner, fast becoming one of the most popular ways for friends and family to eat out in Shanghai. A large bowl of boiling broth is placed in the middle of the table, and you can order from hundreds of meats and vegetables to place in it and cook quickly in front of you. Delicious!

See a show of the world famous Shanghai Acrobats, performing human stunts and tricks seemingly impossible and yet thoroughly entertaining. The performers practice hard their entire life, starting as young children, and their skill is unmatched anywhere in the world.
