Drive to Yangshuo and take a private 3-hour cooking class in the morning, learning the style of cooking from this region from an English-speaking chef who gives regular lessons. First you will go to a local farmer’s market to choose the ingredients, and then spend the rest of the time learning to cook the food and then enjoying it for your lunch.

Take some motorcycle rickshaws and head back to the countryside. Take a spelunking tour of the Black Buddha cave, winding its way through 3 mountains. This cave became famous after WWII since many locals hid inside during the Japanese occupation, only venturing near the entrance in order to pray to a Buddha-shaped rock formation.

Have the evening free in the town, which is both small and quaint as well as extremely foreigner-friendly with many English speaking residents and English signs and menus. Drive back to your hotel after dinner.
