China 101 Tour (Ren Min level)

Day 9

Rent some bicycles, and head into the countryside with your guide.

Climb the famous Moon Hill and get a great view of the surrounding area. From this hill-top you can see a full panorama of the hills, the valleys, and the rice paddies.

    

Visit the thousand year-old tree, and explore local farming valleys hidden amongst the hills. Enjoy a lunch with some local farmers in their house and see what the countryside life is really like.

    

Head back to Yangshuo and enjoy some time wandering the small streets and markets.

    

Have another dinner in the town, sampling some of the local delicacies if you desire (the snake dishes are the most famous!). Drive back to your hotel in the evening.
