Day 14

Early in the morning drive to the Shanghai railway station and take the bullet train (1st class seats) to Hangzhou.

Visit the Lingyin Temple, famous for its stone carvings of Buddhist figures, along with the forest setting where you can take small hikes in the hills.

    

Climb the Six Harmonies Pagoda, one of the most famous pagodas in China.

    

Take a walk along the shores of the West lake, and then take a private small-boat tour to view what is considered the most beautiful lake in China and the favorite vacation destination for many emporors.

    

Enjoy a dinner in the most scenic location possible, nestled inside of the botanical gardens, and enjoy authentic Hangzhou food (specializing in fresh-water fish).

Take the bullet train (1st class seats) back to Shanghai.
