Like a chorus in tune and singing from the same page, experts say that by 2020 the world's hot spot for tourists will be China.
-
"China now is the fourth-largest destination in the world. In 2015, China will be the Number One destination for travelers from all over the world." - Liping A. Cai, director of the Purdue Tourism & Hospitality Research Center at Purdue University.
-
"Shanghai is poised to become 'the next New York.' " - Lonely Planet Bluelist.
-
"We've seen this year interest is up in China, even in Ohio. That will continue to grow." - Cheryl Hudak, vice president of the American Society of Travel Agents and a travel agent in Youngstown, Ohio.
Purdue's Cai says China already is the top tourist attraction for Asian travelers.
